When I launched the Embossed Phoenix Cardigan last month, the feedback was so amazing, that I started working on this second design almost immediately. Most of all, this new technique to incorporate the feather motif was screaming for a shawl.
I chose a vortex shape not only for its wing-like shape, but because it’s a fun shape to create with simple increases and decreases. This is a generous sized shawl 43.” (110 cm) wide by 42” (160 cm) long.
